• Allow access to the HTML templates, including the robots.txt and rss/xml—this could be opt-in—for those that want to further customize their layouts.

• Further to the above, allow the creation of variables based on metadata, so they can be inserted into the posts/templates. A couple of examples:

  • the meta_description can be called by a “summary” variable, and placed into the post template, so the summary can be shown for any posts that have one
  • the post title can be called by a “title” variable, and placed into a “reply by email” element in the post and/or RSS feed using ?subject=”{​{​ .title }}”

You can now edit the robots.txt in Settings > Advanced settings

You can also now reference front-matter in all blog content using these attributes:
